Microsoft Online Services
Hosted solutions provide alternative deployment option for leading Microsoft solutions.
With the movement to online services, an increasing number of organisations are realising that they no longer need to run applications on-premise or in-house. The widespread availability of faster online connectivity has also accelerated the adoption of online applications and services.
Microsoft has recognised this trend and has made available several core applications. Available individually or together as part of Office 365 (previously called the Microsoft Business Productivity Online Suite, or BPOS), this suite comprises:
- Exchange Online - Delivering high availability email and calendaring across an organisation.
- SharePoint Online - Hosted version of SharePoint providing online collaboration and portal capabilities.
- Lync Online - Unified communications hosted in the cloud, delivering instant messaging, presence and voice capabilities.
- Office Live Meeting - Information and video conferencing, using a popular online solution.
Available on a subscription basis, these online solutions allow organisations to be up and running quickly without the need to purchase additional hardware.
By working with Intergen, we can help your organisation evaluate which deployment model to use, and how your organisation - in part or its entirety - can take advantage of Microsoft's Online Services. And for those organisations that have specific requirements, Intergen can host these applications in our own data centre.
